Will Little

Coach Little focuses his energies on coaching Supreme Court’s 10U team. Before joining Supreme Court as a coach in 2012, he spent more than 25 years coaching basketball and tennis at the AAU and high school level. He has coached in several locales; from Curacao and Jamaica in the Caribbean to Massachusetts, Georgia and, of course, California in the U.S. Will and his wife Diane have three boys.

Tyrone Hopkins

Coach Hopkins is the head coach of the Horizon Christian Academy’s varsity boys team. He was a two-time All- America at University of Central Oklahoma and was recently elected to the school’s Hall of Fame. He considered one of the top coaches in Southern California with more than 10 years’ experience (high school and junior college level). He is married to Porscha and has two children.

Robert Taylor

Coach Taylor is the current Director of Supreme Court’s Southeast program in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The team began its inaugural season in December 2014. He is also the Boys Varsity Associate Head Coach at Stewarts Creek High School in Smyrna, Tenn. He was the Assistant Director of Supreme Court from 2010 to 2013 and was also the lead assistant coach for the San Diego Sol Men’s ABA 2011, when the team won the Southern California Championship. Coach Taylor has also coached at the Boys high school level at San Diego’s Horizon Christian Academy, Bonita Vista High School, Bonita, Ca., William Harrison High School, in Evansville, IN. and St. Monica’s High School, Santa Monica, Ca. He is married to his wife Mychell and has two children.

Waheed Mitchell

Coach Mitchell is the Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Chaparral High School, Temecula. Prior to coaching at Chaparral High School the veteran of 12 years built at impressive resume as Head Coach at Horizon High School and The Rock Academy in San Diego. In that stretch Mitchell earned 2006 San Diego Union Tribune Coach of the Year, 6 conference titles, 3 San Diego CIF Section titles, 2 Southern California Regionals appearances and 1 California State Title. Coach Mitchell was 1st team all conference as a player at Notre Dame de Namur University (98-2001). Where he helped the Argonauts to an undefeated league title in 2001 and a National Tournament berth. Mitchell earned his BA in Liberal Studies, Sociology. He and his wife Brandy have three daughters Brittany 19, Breanna 11 and Bailee 7.

Narcippa Teague

Coach Teague, currently the assistant boys basketball coach at Grossmont High School, will be working with Supreme Court’s high school teams this spring. He played under Coach Jones at San Diego City College and received a basketball scholarship to Cal State-Chico basketball team, where he was one of the team’s leading rebounders.

Michael Redd

Coach Redd started his basketball career at Claremont High School where he lettered in basketball. After graduation, he moved to San Diego where he played two seasons at Palomar College and had two playoff appearances under coach Andy Gilmore. From there he attended Chico State University where he was apart of 2 NCAC championship teams. He enjoyed a successful professional career in the BBL (British Basketball League/Euro League) where he won five championships in seven years in the league. After this time he returned to Chico State and completed his Bachelors degree as well as his Masters degree in Kinesiology. Michael is very proud to be a part of the Supreme Court program and he is looking forward to passing on the basketball and personal life lessons that he has been fortunate to learn over his basketball life.

Walt Felsume

Coach Felusme is entering his eighth season with the Herbert Hoover basketball program and his first full season as the Head Boys Varsity Coach. This past season, Coach Felusme was an assistant coach on the Southwestern College Men’s basketball team that captured the PCAC league championship and finished top 8 in the state. Prior to joining the SWC coaching staff, he was the Junior Varsity Head Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach with the Hoover Cardinals and won 3 Division II championships. Coach Felusme is a Navy Veteran and graduated from San Diego State with a Bachelors of Arts in History.

Joey Garcia

Coach Garcia has been involved at all levels of basketball over the past 25 years. He has officiated high school and college basketball. He was the founder and coach of one of three San Diego’s original youth travel basketball teams, the San Diego Sharks. He has coached high school basketball at Francis Parker, San Diego High School, and Del High School. Coach Garcia has 4 kids, Kaila, Alexa, Luis, and Joey, Jr.

Askia Geigle

Coach Geigle has over 11 years of training and coaching experience with AAU, middle school, and high school. In 2012 he was invited to assist the Chaparral High School J.V. basketball team. He became the Head J.V. Coach in 2014-2015 season delivering a winning season, where he is presently coaching. He has been successful in the J.V. Head coaching position developing and preparing numerous players to the varsity level by their freshman/sophomore year within his 2 seasons.

Yohannis Johnson

Coach Johnson graduated from Morse High School in San Diego where he lettered in three sports: basketball, wrestling, and track. Upon graduation, he joined the armed forces and served for four years in the U.S. Army. While in the Army, he played basketball and made the All-Army team. Coach Johnson has extensive coaching experience with youth and adult basketball. He coached for three years in the American Basketball Association for the San Diego Sol team and has been coaching in Supreme Court’s youth program for several years.
